30th anniversary membership offer: join the FGG!

As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Gay Games, the Federation will be offering a 50% discount on membership fees for new members who join between now and 30 June 2012. The offer concerns any new member, either for full or associate membership.

The FGG made a similar offer before Gay Games VIII in 2010. The Federation has made an effort to adapt membership fees to the needs of potential members, with a permanent discount for organisations based in developing countries. The current special discount is intended to make it even easier for sports and culture organisations to be part of the governing body for the largest international sports and culture festival open to all. We are convinced that membership requires a financial commitment from members, but we feel that money should not be an obstacle to contributing to the LGBT sports and culture movement within the FGG.

Under this offer, fees will range from USD 7.50 for an associate member from a less developed country to USD 50 for a full member from a developed country. The discounted membership will last from the date at which the organisation joins the Federation through 30 June 2012.
